Whilst my usual practice location-The Park Hospital- is supporting the NHS during the Covid-19 Pandemic, I am offering video and telephone consultations instead of face to face appointments.
If, following an assessment, an urgent face to face consultation is required, then this can be accommodated too.

Dr Emma Pooley Mb.ChB MRCGP DA
Hello, I’m a private GP based in Nottingham. During an appointment I want you to feel heard & understood, because my focus is your health & well-being.
I have a broad range of training including in gynaecology & elderly care, having practised locally as a GP for over 20 years. After graduating from Bristol University in 1989, I trained as a GP on the Northumbria VTS Scheme and qualified in 1995. I am a member of the Royal College of GPs.
My aim is to provide a caring, high quality & responsive GP service with you at its heart. That’s why I have longer appointment times & a ‘person-centred’ approach.
Having worked locally for 20 years, & with a greater understanding of the needs of local residents, I offer a surgery on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at The Park Hospital in Arnold. You can have blood tests taken at the same time, meaning more convenience for you.
I take pleasure in relaxing with my 2 adult children, & enjoy travel, theatre & live music – particularly Jazz. I keep myself fit by walking & cycling and enjoy promoting an active lifestyle to my patients,
Dr Pooley’s service is excellent. She is very helpful & thorough, listening carefully to my concerns. I will use the service again without hesitation.
