Appointments – information and booking

Appointments are available at the main practice in Southwell all day Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons.

A limited number of appointments are also available on Thursday mornings at the Nottingham Regent Street practice.

If you require any adjustments (for example interpreter, sign language, wheelchair ramp or an appointment at a quieter time of the day) to ensure that your visit to the clinic runs as smoothly as possible, please email info@dremmapooley.co.uk to let us know.

If you require a translator, we strongly recommend you do not use friends or family. Please email info@dremmapooley.co.uk to let us know what language you need, and we can arrange for translation services as required.

Fees & Times

A 30 minute appointment costs £150. There will be an additional charge of £25 for a prescription provided during a consultation; referrals are charged at £60 each, (prices correct at JANUARY 2024). For a more comprehensive list of my costs please download my PRICE LIST. If blood tests are taken, a follow up consultation will be required to discuss your results; you will be advised in advance of the cost of your investigations.

Consultations are generally available in Southwell all day on Mondays & Tuesdays and on Thursday afternoons. Payment will be taken in full upon booking for all consultations. Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to an appointment will be charged in full.

Reception is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 am – 5pm and 9am to midday on Wednesdays and Fridays.

What you need to know about appointments in Southwell

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your first appointment so that your identity check can be done.
  • Due to the registration of the premises, I am only able to see patients who are 16 years and older.
  • Please note that I do not offer a vaccination service/ perform minor operations/offer maternity care although I can see pregnant people for non-pregnancy related matters.
  • If you are experiencing the symptoms of Coronavirus – a high temperature and/or a continuous cough/ loss of sense of smell/taste – please do not make or attend an appointment with me. Instead, follow the NHS advice.
  • The consulting room is on the ground floor and there is disabled access using a portable ramp. On-site disabled parking can be arranged in advance via reception. Please ring reception or email info@dremmapooley.co.uk to request this. Parking is otherwise available close by at the Co op.
  • Please refer to your confirmation email about wearing a mask and using hand sanitiser.
  • As part of Care Quality Commission safe practice expectation, I am expected to see a copy of either your driving licence or passport. Please upload a copy of one of these via the link on your confirmation email.
